The Family Photoshoot

 

My take on family photography is a planned adventure with your favourite people, filled with games, little missions, laughter, and fun (yes, the dads usually enjoy it too!).


Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, updating your family photos, or simply wanting to freeze this season of life as it is right now, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on making memories together.


Or perhaps you’d love me to quietly document the beauty in your everyday,  dinner time chaos, bath time giggles, bedtime stories, cuddles on the sofa. The ordinary moments that will one day mean everything.

A relaxed, on location or at home joy-filled family session, without the pressure to “perform.”


“Relaxed?” I hear you say. “With children?”



I know the feeling. You want beautiful photos, but the thought of keeping the kids still, smiling, and clean for an hour or two feels almost impossible. That’s where I come in.


As a mum of two, I know exactly how to win them over. Sessions are completely unposed, with just a little gentle guidance from me along the way. I’m there to document the little in-between moments, the playful tickles, shoulder rides, “airplane” tosses, cuddles, giggles, and everything that makes your family yours.


It’s a chance to unplug, spend quality time together, and focus on simply being present with each other. No pressure, no awkward posing, just genuine connection.


I’ll help guide you with outfit choices and talk you through exactly what to expect before the session, so you can arrive feeling relaxed and ready.


All I ask is that you enjoy it. These are the photos your children will look back on one day and see just how loved they were.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What if my children don't cooperate?

Sessions are designed to be fun, the more pressure we put on them to join in, the less they want to. I allow for space and time, they will join in when they are ready. I will set mini missions and games. I also have unlimited high fives and fist pumps for completed missions!

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Yes I do, I will help you plan outfits to elevate your photos and have a cohesive look, something that will suit the location we will be shooting in.

3. What if the weather isn't on our side?

I little drizzle can't stop me, but if the weather is really awful we would look to find an alternative date.

4. How many people are included in a family photoshoot?

Up to 5 people including little humans. Additional people can be added for a fee, contact me for more information.
