The Generation Love Unique Family Portrait Photoshoot

The living legacy

Generation Love, because the story of your family didn't start with you, it started with them. A quiet, soulful celebration of long-term devotion.

Two elderly people sharing a warm embrace and kiss, showing enduring love and affection in Windsor.

We all have them, the faded black and white scalloped-edge photos of our parents or grandparents in their youth. We treasure those glimpses of who they were "before." But somewhere along the way, as the albums filled with kids and grandkids, the lens shifted away from them. The photos of their specific, enduring magic just… stopped.

They deserve to be seen now, too.

There is a profound, quiet radiance in a love that has weathered the decades. It’s in the way they still find each other's hands without looking, the shared shorthand of a fifty-year conversation, and the grace in every silver hair and laughter line. This isn't just a portrait session, it’s a tribute to the cornerstone of your family.

As the only photographer in Wiltshire offering this dedicated experience, I invite you to think differently about what we document. Let’s capture the "now" for the generations that follow. Whether in the comfort of their home or tucked into a favorite Cotswold view, let’s honour the love that built the family.

"Tasha came to my parents home to do a photo shoot with them. They are in there late 80s, she was so lovely and put us all at ease straight away. Tasha also captured some wonderful photos we will have some wonderful memories that we will be able to cherish forever. Would highly recommend."

"Which of my photographs is my favourite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.”

Frequently Asked Questions

1. We aren't as young or 'photogenic' as we used to be. Will we look okay?

This is exactly why I created this session. There is a specific radiance in a life well-lived. I don't use harsh lighting or stiff poses; I focus on the grace of your connection. My style is 'sculptural,' meaning I use natural light to highlight the beauty of your story, the laughter lines and the steady presence you have for one another. You’ll look like the very best, most authentic version of yourselves.

2. I struggle with standing for long periods or have mobility issues. Can we still do this?

Absolutely. This session moves entirely at your pace. We can host the session in the comfort of your own home (perhaps in your favourite garden chair or on the sofa) or choose a Wiltshire / Cotswold location with easy access and plenty of spots to rest. Comfort is my priority.

3. Why do we need this now? We have plenty of old photos.

Old photos are treasures, but they show who you 'were.' These photos show who you 'are', the strength, the wisdom, and the depth of a love that has stood the test of time. Your children and grandchildren will one day look for photos of you exactly as you are today. This is about completing the family story.

4. Can I buy this as a gift for my parents?

Yes, and it is the most meaningful gift you could give. I offer beautifully presented physical or digital vouchers that you can tuck into a card. I’ll then work closely with your parents to ensure they feel prepared, excited, and completely at ease before we meet. More info on vouchers can be found here.
